BUSCH Microsystems was founded by Winfried Busch, Graduated Engineer, as an engineering company in 1999. Now sixty years of age, he had laid the cornerstone by offering development services in the field of system engineering, always focusing on the reliability of his work and products: ”I want to use my creativity at the right place“.
The success and growth of his company proved him right. In 2002, Busch and his team moved to a newly constructed administration and production building in Bretzenheim. In 2006, the engineering company was converted to a family enterprise. Together with his daughters Helen and Nicola, Winfried Busch now determines the destiny of the internationally operating company; however, he always sees his roots and benefits in those of a classical medium-sized enterprise: ”As an entrepreneur, I keep an eye on all processes and I am able to flexibly respond to our clients’ requests“.
The growth that the company has experienced over the last two decades is particularly attributable to the company staff. ”Within a short time, we reached a high technical level. As a result, we are able to continuously extend our service portfolio“, stresses the company founder. Currently, BUSCH Microsystems has about 35 employees, with a tendency upwards.
BUSCH Microsystems experiences a continuous growth. The production area at the company site in Bretzenheim was doubled in 2012 so that the manufacturing depth could be increased. However, already in 2016, this space was not sufficient any more so that a new location was built in Langenlonsheim. In addition to further production areas, the new location accommodates new training facilities. In total, BUSCH Microsystems has a production area of over 1500 square metres.
